Choosing the right .tel domain name

  1. Keep the domain name as short as possible and if possible don't include more than two words.
  2. Try to include your product, service, profession, industry and / or location.
  3. Use words easy to understand.
  4. Spell the domain name correctly.
  5. Don't use hyphens.
  6. Don't use numbers.
  7. Avoid using registered trademarks.
  8. Don't use internationalized domain names with special characters.
  9. If your desired domain name is taken, it could be wise to ask the current owner if he is willing to sell it to you for cheap. It's better to spend a few hundred bucks than using an unrecognizable domain name.
  10. If you are not sure if it's better to use keywords or your company name, please follow the advice from Google:
